Meet the Team Behind the Vision

Two women from America and New Zealand who share a vision of creating nurturing, deeply memorable retreat experiences. Together, we host women’s retreats that bring together nature, community and practices such as yoga, meditation and somatic exploration.

We first met during our yoga teacher training, and since then life has taken us to many places around the world as we followed our individual passions for wellbeing, travel and nature-based living.

Our connection has always brought us back together, now woven into something bigger: a growing retreat community known as Worlds Together, where we host nature retreats centered around yoga, meditation, somatic practices and cyclical living.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • A nature retreat is a wellbeing experience designed to help people slow down and reconnect with the natural world. Often held in beautiful outdoor locations, these retreats combine time in nature with practices such as yoga, meditation and somatic awareness. Nature retreats create space to rest, reflect and return to a more natural rhythm of living.

  • Somatic practices focus on reconnecting with the body and supporting the nervous system through gentle awareness, breath and movement. In retreat settings, somatic work may include guided body awareness, mindful movement, meditation and grounding practices in nature. These experiences help participants develop a deeper sense of connection with their bodies and emotional wellbeing.

  • A yoga and meditation retreat typically includes daily yoga sessions, guided meditation and time spent outdoors. Many retreats also incorporate somatic practices, group workshops and opportunities for reflection. Being surrounded by nature helps create a supportive environment for rest, personal insight and deeper connection.

  • Cyclical living is the practice of reconnecting with natural rhythms. Including seasonal cycles, nature’s patterns and the body’s own energy cycles. Many women’s retreats explore cyclical living as a way to support wellbeing, self-awareness and a more balanced approach to life. Through education, reflection and shared community experiences, participants learn how to honour these natural rhythms in everyday life.

  • Nature and adventure retreats combine wellbeing practices with exploration of the natural world. Alongside yoga, meditation and somatic practices, participants may experience nature walks, ocean swims or time discovering local landscapes. These retreats offer both restoration and adventure, creating memorable experiences that support both wellbeing and connection.

  • Women’s retreat communities create supportive spaces where participants can share experiences, learn from one another and reconnect with themselves. Gathering in community allows for meaningful conversations, shared practices and a deeper sense of belonging. Our retreats are centred around yoga, meditation, somatic exploration and nature help foster connection not only with others, but with the self.
