Interoceptive Yoga
Interoceptive Yoga, what is such a thing?
A practice of homecoming, attunement and listening.
Within the modern rhythms of life, yoga has morphed it’s way into a showcase, some sort of performance. The importance of the practice being placed on what things look like and how to fit the individual into yoga.
Instead, what if the practice was more so how it feels. It became one of learning how to shape yoga to the individual.
Each of us made up of different skeletal systems, imprints, scars, depths.
The practice becomes one of resourcing our system to inquire what wants to be felt, included and welcomed. We let go of perfection, instead devoting our practice to presence. Listening and responding moment to moment.
Each movement, each breath one of devotion, of prayer.
“Hey body, I’m listening, I’m here, I’m available.”
