Awareness Insight Meditation is a self sufficient practice where you sit for 20 minutes twice a day. An ancient yet simple technique now made accessible in this modern world.
Being someone who lives in a society too where you have to show up for a job each day, pay your bills and you have everyday responsibilities I understand that we can’t put our life on hold and move to an Ashram for months (as much as I would like that at times!).
Therefore to have a practice that can be easily infused into our day has been something truly invaluable. One that isn’t an escape but more so something that allows us to hold life with that little bit more comfort and grace. It truly is the most compassionate thing you can ever do for yourself.
I’ll teach you how to meditate without the apps, without technology, just the good old fashioned, ancient way.
You can learn in a group, or privately and once you’ve done the foundational course you’ll have all the tools you need for this transformative daily practice.

Day one involves an introduction with one another and into the practice.
Exploring what meditation is and often more importantly what it isn’t, discovering the foundation of a meditation practice, Awareness and experiencing perhaps your first actual meditative practice with the guidance from Caroline.
Return to day two with a little bit of practice under your belt.
Day two involves more knowledge to support you in understanding the Conscious, Unconscious and Subconscious parts of the mind as well as our Stress Response.
All important parts to understand our humanness and unpack our excuses, self sabotage and fears.
Day three we go into more of the neuroscience and what is happening in the mind and the body as we sit down in stillness to meditate.
As well as this we explore meditation in challenging times and how to integrate it into your daily routine.

Taught over 3 x 75 - 90 minute sessions in a group or 1 on 1. Each session including practical teachings, guided meditations and time for questions or further exploration.
Either online or in person.

What will you will learn in the course is that there is a very valid reason why it’s taught as 20 minutes twice a day.
Thinking about the day to day stresses we accumulate as well as our lifetime's accumulation of energy that has been trapped within us, that extra 20 minutes works wonders as essentially unstressing.

I too have a busy mind. Minds are designed to think.
What we will uncover in the course is that it’s not exactly about getting rid of the thoughts.
Anyone and everyone can meditate and this practice will show you just that!

There will be subtle shifts most likely straight away.
The sustainable, and long lasting shifts come with consistency and time yet are very worth it.

Guided Meditations are more for purely relaxation.
A self sufficient practice allows you the space and time without the external distraction of a voice to essentially get into the deeper stuff that has been sitting there for a long time leading to longer lasting change and improvements within our overall wellbeing.

In this Meditation practice you sitting upright with your eyes closed.
The aim is to be as comfy as possible.
This means no need for flexible Yoga poses or even crossed legs.
Yes, you can also wear whatever you wish!
